The 'CURVE' Series── Captures What Make People Fascinating
The Taiwan-born and based artist TAPAS HUMI has cultivated design ideas of desserts that everyone one of us would be proud to don. Playing on the curves of his models, he has created food fashion for his portfolio 'Curves.'
The photography itself is extremely simple. Letting the desserts do most of the talking, TAPAS HUMI creates living pieces of art in addition to one sense of the word. If these combinations could talk, 'Curves' would surely be in its vocabulary.
From macaron to biscuits, it's hard to imagine the beautiful smells that wafted from this set. Yes, real food was indeed used.

Q1: The artist is a passionate creature. Is it possible to fall in love with the model through seeing, sensing, and communicating with the object throughout the design process?
CY: I know the feeling. For me, more than that, I am in love with the character in the photoshoot. Their best performances are filled with real moments between them and the model. My fantasy is captured in the scenes.
Q2: If you could go back to being 18 years old again, how would you do it differently? What type of food source will there be on the day of the shoot?
CY: As an artist, I am open to creating and shooting all types of liquids. I draw inspiration from Mother Nature-Water. Water plays a critical role in life, and it has remained so throughout time.
Q3: Is there any plan to launch this 'CURVE' dessert line to the market?
CY: Maybe... maybe not, this product will not be on the market, rather it will be introduced as creative or innovative ideas.
