The 'CURVE' Series── Visualizing the Sensation of Luxury Taste

“I believe it could be intimate yet challenging to try and visualize the sensation of luxury taste.”

The Sensation and Visual Arts: Thinking about food as a medium

These sensations are experienced through the unique classic and seasonal macaron tastes. In the creation of French desserts, the highest performance and most intensive art is achieved.

We have chosen art as a potentially rich source of sensation. And so does the food, to obtain a better insight into luxury taste. It was also my intention to visually convey those characteristics. Captured in a still photograph, and showing the visual expression of luxury taste.

The Way Installation Art Is Expressed

Who we are is also expressed in our visual preference, and we have chosen aesthetics and art to reflect on our desires. The main idea is a food art installation, in which the French dessert itself is fully reflected.

What these photos—all captured in the moments—underline is the feeling of the sensation with the audience, such as pleasure, salivation, or sharpness. In the future, some dessert material or food will be designed to express installation art—that special taste of sensation.
